CAMBRIDGE TOUR DE GRAND CANCELLED - We regret to inform you that the 2020 Cambridge Tour de Grand has been cancelled due to the CoVid – 19 (Coronavirus) pandemic. The safety and health of our riders and volunteers is our most important priority. Based on public health directives to avoid gatherings of more than 50 persons, and with the uncertainty as to the end of the pandemic, the decision was made to cancel the Tour for this year.
HELP US, HELP OTHERS, FUNDRAISING – this year for the first time the Cambridge Tour de Grand instituted a fundraising campaign to support, both local and international charitable organizations. This year, more than ever before, these charities need your support. If you can, we would welcome you to make your charitable donation. Check out the Fundraising tab on our website for details of our five charities.
Donations can be made by credit card or cheque payable to the Cambridge Tour de Grand and sent to Cambridge Tour de Grand c/o Don Pavey, 14 Aberdeen Road South, Cambridge, ON N1S 2X4.
To make a donation by credit card please contact Don Pavey at 519-240-5325 or email [email protected] with the name on your card, the card number, date of expiry, card security code and the amount of your donation.
A charitable receipt for donations of $20.00 or more will be issued promptly.
ALREADY REGISTERED - if you have already registered and made a charitable donation, we will be contacting you directly in the next few weeks as to the options that you have for your registration and donation.
WANT TO RIDE – even though the Cambridge Tour de Grand is not taking place this year, we would welcome you to keep the spirit of the ride going and dig up one of your previous Tour de Grand T-shirts or jerseys and pick a day to get some fresh air and ride one of our eleven routes wearing your shirt or jersey. Send a picture to Don Pavey at [email protected] We will post as many pictures as we can to our website. Try one of the 10, 15, 25, 40, 50, 60, 72, 100, 160 km routes or the 50 & 76 km gravel & trail routes. Maps and full route descriptions are on our website.
